Changing antifreeze?

Hey dudes, just hit 95k and am wanting to change the antifreeze. Is it a pressurized system? When bleeding the system, do I just run it up to temp with the cap off untill all the bubbles burp out the system? About how many gallons of freeze does it take. Thanks for any help.

Well got the change done. Dude at the dealer swore I needed the red antifreeze, but I got the pink instead. Won't wait 100k to change it this time Damn easy, didn't even have to jack the ride up

I thought the "red" (Toyota Long-Life Coolant) wasn't made any more. "Pink" (Toyota Super Long-Life Coolant) replaces red with no problem.

Did you remember to drain the engine block?

Didn't use the block drains. I just drained the radiator, filled back up. Ran with the heater on for a couple hours, then drained radiator again and refilled. I think as long as I do it every 30k I should be good.

That method will be fine. That is what I do. The engine block drain is hard to get to and they are many times really stuck in there. I would hate to snap that off!

I buy the concentrated Factory Red anti-freeze. That way you get two gallons after diluting it with one gallon of DI-water from the grocery store.
