changing front suspension on 4runner 95

Hi i got a 4 Runner 95 and my front suspensions are worn , from what ive seen it looks pretty simple , 1 nut at the top and one big bolt at the bottom .
I was wondering if you guys had any tips on doing the job , do you think i will need to use a torch? also do you guys have any idea of the torque of the 2 parts (top nut , bottom bolt)

Your just looking at the shocks. The front end is held up by torsion bars.

What about the front end dont you like? Too stiff? bottoms out? The better the question, the better the answer.
