Chasing down vibration?

Hey maybe you guys could help figure this out. I have a 97 4runner 3.4 and I have been chasing down vibrations since we got it. It first was warped rotors and we fixed that now that is all good. Next was 3 out of 4 tires were out of balanced and I got that done. Now at 115km - 130km she has a audible vibration sound that comes from right below front seats. Can feel the vibration in the shifters. I took a look at the drive shaft and rear end pinion is tight, ujoints are tight but where the drive shaft enters that transfer case, It has up and down play. Not sure if there is a bearing in there or what would cause the up and down pay. Could these be the potential issue?

Pull the DS off of the t-case and make sure the big nut on the flange under there is tight.
If it is tight you may have a bad bearing. If it's loose you may have solved your problem.
And if you checked the u-joints with the DS mounted they might be bad but seem OK.

Put the car in the air (on a lift at a tire shop) and have them shake it down really well. Loose steering components, ball joints, wheel bearings, shocks, struts, etc. can all cause vibration. Although if in the front end, you'd feel it pronounced in the steering wheel most, usually.

Also, check the universal joints on your drive shaft. Mine froze up on me a few weeks ago causing a vibration throughout the entire car. Luckily I got them replaced before one sheared.
