Cheap new goodie

So I went to the off road expo over the weekend in Pomona..It should have been called a jeep expo instead.
On the other hand, I did pick up a shackle and block for $30.
Got around to painting the shackle red and safety wired the pin so it wont fly off. I am going to locktite it as well.
Nothing special, just a new goodie.

I like the idea of a shackle. I picked up one over the summer.

I'm not sure why so many people paint their's red though. Do y'all really have problems with the pin coming out?

my girl says the red looks like a blood bung on my truck, i just laugh.
Not sure if i would have an issue with the pin but better to be safe then having someone telling me i owe them a new windshield i suppose.
For 30 bucks, i am calling this one a winner winner chicken dinner.

I like your stickers(from the other threads). I think that's how I'm going to put mine on.

Think the Loctite is a little overkill. Are you planning on using it , or just have it for looks ? Would suck to need it but not be able to get the pin out.
