Saw this on ebay

Trim Kit

Has anybody used these before?

I am afraid it will melt in 6 months and look worse than the regular interior. The regular interior isn't bad I just prefer the wood looking interior of the limited.

I had one on my Infiniti G35 back in 02 and 03 when I had the car. I thought it looked classy and had absolutely no problems at all.
 
Very easy. I would check them out carefully, I know Jason Burtman sells quality kits. Just do a search and you'll find his website.
 
thats pretty sweet....i'll have to look into that....id be afraid of it lookin all cheesy tho....guess ya can always take it off...

Does it snap on or is it just a big sticker adhesive that sticks on there? Basically if I don't like it I want to be able to remove it. Also jason burtman needs to work on his site some. Took me forever to find the wood grain interior.
 
The kit I bought had very strong adhesive, so strong that it didn't seem that you'd be able to remove it very easily, if at all.

I wish I had pics of my G35 with the wood kit. I'm telling you guys, it really did look very good, not cheesy at all. The car had a light tan interior so I bought the real wood-grain trim. I'll look for pics and post them here.

How do I know the plastic won't start melting or oxidizing terribly a year down the line? It sounds like you really can't get rid of it once it is on there. Is it the same kind of plastic used by automakers for interior trim?
 
Because I guarantee it for life. It's also nice to be able to stand behind something that is killer quality.

If something happened and the kit failed even if I got the money back on the kit it would suck to have a crappy looking dash the rest of the life of my car.

Can you give me specifics on what type of material you use?? Then I can verify it doesn't oxidize. I mean it must be a certain type of plastic.
 
These kits DO NOT use an adhesive promotor like other kits. It's the adheasive promotor that most less expensive kits use that ruin your dash and discolor it when you remove the kit from your dash. I will not sell anything like this as it's a huge liability and those with leased cars would be in big trouble. You can call me or email and I can go into more detail about the differences.
