Check engine light came on. Code P0700?

On my way to the store today the check engine light comes on, autozone was a few blocks away so I stopped in for a scan and the code is P0700. Anyone have this code before? It's on a 2000 4runner limited with automatic transmission.

A P0700 trouble code is set when TCC lock-up does not occur during appropriate speed, or lock-up does not release at appropriate speed.

Possible causes are:
* Solenoid is stuck open or closed.
* Valve body clogged or valve stuck.
* TCC malfunction.


I would take it to a tranny shop and have them check it out.

I was going to take it to the dealer this morning to have it scanned to pull the correct codes, but Thomas Toyota in Joliet wants 85.00 just to scan it for the specific trouble codes. It takes less than a minute to hook up a scanner and pull a code. 85.00???? Crooked dealership. I called another dealership which is 20 miles away but they will scan it no charge.
