So I have a 86 4Runner with the r22. I've tried to search but I haven't found anything unless I just don't know what to search. So when I start my 4Runner it turns on no issues but once I start driving and hit 1500 rpms check engine light comes on. I checked the ecu and I don't see flashes from the ecu. And as soon as I turn off the truck and turn it back on no check engine light is on. Only thing I can think of is that I have a possible bad ecu. Any other ideas or things I can can check so that the check engine light doesn't come back. Thanks in advance for any advice you guys give me.

How is your power - knock sensor did the same thing. Jump the diagnosis ports and it will show your the code in blink pattern
