Yea that was a BIG OOPS on my part, it was my first time and I was real excited to try it out and couldnt help myself. Turns out these 4runners are beast!! I see this light bar here, but i dont know how well they are or if they are any good.

BTW I am taking off my running boards now. I will post a pic when they are off.

Took my running boards off! Pretty painless, six bolts for each board and they are off!

I like the look, my bro said it looks like I have a 2 inch lift.

How big do you want the light bar to be? If it's for the roof you need like a 50 inch, but if you're mounting to the front bumper you can go with any size really. Rigid makes the best led light bars but they're also insanely priced. Just look at reviews and make your decision based on that. I personally but stuff that's not the cheapest I can get but also not the most expensive. It's worth the extra money and waiting time while you save up because you'll get a quality product that you'll really enjoy. You could also check craigslist to see if anyone around you has one for sale. Just my .02

Going from 265/70 to 265/75 does nothing for an aggressive look. You can fit 275/70R16's AT's (wider) under those 99 Tall springs.
Also I recommend Pioneer speakers for those on a budget otherwise JL Audio is amazing. You can fit 6 3/4's in the front doors, do it!

I would have to disagree. Going to a 265/75 instead of a 265/70 definitely gives a more aggressive look. The tire is over an inch taller, and taller than a 275/70.

I guess it depends on what your definition of aggressive means. Wider & obviously tread pattern make it look more aggressive to me. A 265/75 will rub on the pinch weld, my 275/70 Pirelli Scorpion AT's rubbed on occasion with stock 99 springs but my Bridgstone Dueler's AT's never rubbed. I never had any issues with the back tires.

You'll clear with a 3" lift, but then those tires will look too small. :bounce:

Did all that besides the tranny cooler, just did my right side inner tie rod because it had play, left side is fine.



Thanks man, I think I have seen those HIDs in the halogen housings where its a big white blinding UFO light looking at you eh? hahaha If thats what they look like then yea ill pass and work on the retrofit. Right now I have the ZXE bulbs that shine pretty white for the stock headlights.

I think I might go with the SS suspension set up when I am ready to do the kit. Seems like the best deal for the money along with the CBI bumpers. I FREAKING CANT WAIT MAN!!!!

I swear if I had about 20grand right now, this truck would be so legit.

I had HIDs in the original housings... I was flashed at least three times a week...definitely not the flash I was looking for.

Put the retrofit on the priority, it's worth it!

WOW, Those look so cool! How much was your kit? Yea... I think I will hold off on the HID Conversion and do the retrofit. I think I have seen what they look like with just HID bulbs and it looks weird, and too bright.

I know I will probably get bashed on for this, but I talked to a guy at the gas station pumping gas who had Rough country stickers on his windows. He had the 3 inch lift kit on his Jeep and I got to talking to him about it. He said their products aren't bad, but they aren't the best either. He said his rig rode exactly the same than before he put it on, which is one of my biggest concerns is ride quality. He said his rig rode exactly the same than before he put it on, which is one of my biggest concerns is ride quality.

I know 250$ for a 3inch lift kit is CHEAP, so how long would something like that last?

I put a three inch lift on mine and had 265/70/r16 and they looked TINY so I spent the extra coin and got some 285/75 so I can get that aggressive look. If you put a 3 inch lift I'd go with something a little bigger than a 265!

I went a little different route and spent over 1200 on my lift but it honesty doesn't make that much of a difference in ride quality and performance... If your shocks and struts are fine then you don't need to buy all new ones. Spacers would be okay for what you're doing!

265/75's will look better than 265/70's will. I hate the way empty wheel wells look. 275's will look good & 285's will look even better.
Spacer lifts preload the springs & make a stiffer & harsher ride.
