Check out my system 1600 watt!!!

I have not posted anything in a while but this year I took 4th in the SLAP Nationals. I got dinged on some pretty stupid stuff. I could have took 1st place because the guy that won 1st place thought I was going to win. If it was not for that stupid stuff I would have.. Anyhow here is a link to my system. I cannot post these pics so I just post the link..

Very nice. Is that a touch screen? Also how do the subs sound fireing thorugh the port? Obviously loud with 3 W6 but what about compared to a regular ported or bandpass, what would you consider your box to be?
 
Yes it is the touch screen. I forgot to add that I am going to get the new touch screen NAV system that Alpine is coming out with.
It is not a ported box, it is a sealed box and the speakers are just facing downward. In the bottom i have mirror so that way when you look in it looks like 6 subs in there. It is very hot, hard to see in pic though...
 
If I didn't have 2 kids who need the space and a wife who nags, I'd be tempted to do something similar! Nice system...
 
I hear ya..I have one kid and that is why I am going to put the LCD's in the head rests, so that when we go on vaca at Ocean City she can watch a movie on the way down..I still have some room back there to pack stuff, but not much..
 
Yeah, I guess it would make the 3 hr drive out there more tolerable... I'm in the process of putting in some headrest monitors, but I think I'm gonna do a not-so-permanent mount... Depends on what I can come up with.. Plus, I'm afraid to cut my headrests!
 
Yea I am to that is why I am going to have Tweeter do my work. In fact they are the ones that did the whole install. I can do the work myself but if i mess it up I have to pay to fix it, this way if Tweeter messes something up, they have to pay to fix it...
 
Goto the Owings Mills store and ask for Dave Askran. I have been working with him for about 3 years, he did my Tacoma and now my 4 Runner. He will take care of you and do a good job. If you go tell him John with the Black 4 Runner sent ya!!!
 
You may want to call before you go there he is really busy most of the time, even I have a hard time getting a hold of him sometimes.
 
Hey all! Well I finally did it! I went to Tweeter yesterday and started the ball rolling on finishing up my system.

Here is what we are going to do..

Add MB Quart Preimum Tweeters in the back doors
5 1/4 JL Audio XR and 2 JL Tweeters in the top center dash for center channel
Dynamat the whole truck
redoing the trim for the sub box and amp rack so you see no seams
Adding another 2 Channel Amp (ALPINE) for the Center Channel
ALpine DTS Decoder (mounted in rear seat arm rest)
2 LCDs in the headrests
2 Xboxs w/wireless controllers (play head to head)
Blue LCD Neons under the dash D&P
Blue LCD Neons under seats D&P
Blue LCDs in the front vents
Strobes in the front and rear lights
 
Your truck looks bad ass man..... that mirror effect ....nice...You should make them put your truck on the cover of their next catalog for amount of time and money well sent, they did to a friend of mine here at northeast. But one question is did you pick the MB Quarts or they suggested to you.....peace.....
 
Yah thats awesome. But just to be sure, no matter where you live, garage that thing or alarm it or something.

My car just got jacked today and all I had was a head unit and a hidden ipod! I live in a nice neighborhood too.
