I just happened to have Two Guys Garage on in my office and they were showing some new product. I am not sure how well they would work in a T4R, but they looked pretty cool.

I'm assuming they are spring loaded. When you pull them back through the whole to take them out, it looks like they compress.

I was on a call when they were talking about them but I think they have springs on them that push the arms open once inside. Of course you would have to hold them shut before you push it through. Then when you are ready to change them, they just pull back out.

I am not sold on them, but knowing that people are always looking for something new and different, I figured somebody would go for them and give us a review.

These were brought up over on a LED forum, and it looks like the makers of these, didn't use high quality LEDs so they aren't as bright as they could be.

The idea is cool, and if they used higher quality LEDs, I think they would be great.

Crap... 50 bucks on top of what everyone paid for the GB JDM Copy Cat rear tail lights... Whew.

But, some of us have money to burn, which make my eyes turn green with envy!

Which one do you have? The latest ones give 150000mcd of luminous intensity.

The problem with the plug and play LEDs out right now is, they have a very narrow beam and don't light up the reflector at all. So it makes them very hard to see, especially during the day.

That is why so many people have been going the retro route and using superflux LEDs and creating tails that look OEM.

I think this summer I'm going to attempt to do a superflux type thing with that unused bumper lights we have. Make them into a brake/tail light.
