Agreed, mine has 112,000 and the seats look fairly new and it sits outside in the Florida heat.
Possible flood damage, ODO rigging. #avoid this one

Naturally Katrina car comes to mind. A Carfax will probably flag it if it was Registered in the parish during Katrina but doesn't necessarily mean flood damage.

Also, the worn spots on the mat is a yellow flag. They didn't have $20 to replace the mats? what else didn't they have money for?

That has to be the weirdest interior/exterior color scheme I have ever seen. I have a feeling it wasn't offered from the factory.

I agree with this, never seen this color combo before. From the pics it almost looks blue, but I assume its supposed to be black or dark grey. Either way, it doesn't seem right. Possibly pulled from another vehicle due to water damage from Katrina.

Those are good things to check. One sign is when a seller has a lot of air fresheners in the car, to hide the moldy smell.

Factory interior for that exterior colour is tan not blue/grey. Complete interior has been swapped (except door cards which are the correct tan colour!) Pig in a poke.

I think the interior is tan, it looks like it is just the lighting that is making it seem a bit off.
Wear does seem a bit excessive on a 110k mile car.
My wife's 2000 isn't as bad and it has 140k.

Dash area looks blue grey to me, not tan. Also the rear deck lid & front fenders forward look like a different shade of silver. Sometimes repair/paint is hard to match, especially silver

I like the fact it's a 5 speed, don't see many manual trans runners around here. I purchased a almost identical 02 with 87k miles and auto trans for $5800 last December. My leather is in a lot better shape than that one. Good deal if the miles are true and it's not a flood car tho.

Wow I can't get over how lucky you are with finding good deals on Toyotas. First a $500 Tacoma and now a low mileage 4Runner for a steal. I am very jealous lol
