Wow I can't get over how lucky you are with finding good deals on Toyotas. First a $500 Tacoma and now a low mileage 4Runner for a steal. I am very jealous lol

One of the perks of being a auto tech. The 02 4runner came into my work needing a axle seal and rear shoes. She didn't want to make the repairs so it could be sold state inspected so i bought it as is. I do have to admit, the po of my 02 was Yeardley Love, A college student in Va. that was murdered by her boyfriend. The mother lives here in Md. and wanted the vehicle sold because she couldn't stand seeing it sitting in her driveway. I have another customer right now with a 96 4runner with 180k miles and a knocking 3.4. If he decides not to have the motor replaced he said he will sell it to me for parts or project. Of course it would be my next project.

Yes it is, very sad. I think the boyfriend's name was Gary Hughley? The mother told me $6000 but when i went to look at it with Yeardley's brother-in-law the sunroof didn't work so they dropped the price to $5800. Some pics from the day i bought it.

My truck is Silver with that Blue gray interior. The leather could be the rare moon mist leather option, only found on... wait for it... SR5's with the blue gray interior! It was a rare option, and looks hideous in comparison to the blue SR5 fabric lol.

that is a factory combination, just a rare and ugly one.


Could also be someone swapped in some tan leather seats. Who knows. Go look at it and find out.

Not to jump to conclusions, however I did also immediately think flood damage with Katrina. But I don't correlate the wear on it from the flood damage, the two are completely separate. Maybe I'm just tying Katrina to NOLA to this ad subliminally. If you're near by, go have it checked out.
