Although I have no way of knowing, I doubt that video was filmed going downhill. That type of acceleration is pretty standard for the V8 4Runners. One thing that makes them this quick is their advantageous power to weight ratio. I doubt the 4Runner in this video was supercharged as I see similar acceleration numbers in my 4Runner.

NOT getting into a debate but one thing I like about my V8 is that it hauls butt !! I dont know about the one in the vid. but sounds good to me.
 
The V8 in the clip sounded stock. The power of the 4Runner surprises many drivers on the road when it comes to those red light races! :D

That would probably be a pretty even race if both are stock...
 
Looks like doing 0-60 in the 7s. 40-100 MPH in about 20. So that would seem to be about 23 seconds 0-100. Is that fast for an SUV?

That looked stock to me, if it had a supercharger the 40 to 100 plus mph would have been a lot faster in time and acceleration. The 0-60 was about right for stock as well, mine does the same, and it might be considered a sleeper for an SUV, add pipes, power chip and sc that thing would run like a raped guerilla...

I have an 06 triumph speed triple with a lot of work done to it and it runs 0-100 in just a few gears and seconds, I do not really know the time because I am not looking at my watch or speedometer when going that fast. The road tends to go by faster at those speeds.
