P p nut Senior Member Feb 28, 2008 #2 Well, when the CEL (Check Engine Light) comes on, it triggers the VSC/TRAC also. This is by default. Doesn't mean VSC or TRAC systems are malfunctioning. I would get the code pulled for the CEL at autozone (free).
