Checking in from Maine

Hey everyone - Just picked up a 2007 sr5 a few weeks back. It has somewhat high miles, but I got the truck from a friend and she pretty much never took it off road and babied it (aka highway miles haha). Anyway, looking forward to learning from you guys and the stored up knowledge in the stickies here. I've had a good experience with other car dedicated forums and hoping to pick up some good info here.

So as far as mods, only things done thus far are weathertech mats and tinted the windows.

Thinking about doing a small lift soon as one of the shocks is clunking a bit. I figure if I am going to do it that is the time. Not looking for anything too crazy, just enough to get a little bigger tire on there. The truck will be seeing some light off-roading duty as I am in the woods a lot hiking/camping, but not into rock crawling or anything like that. My first thoughts are the ToyTec 3" Lift Kit with Bilstein 5100 coil overs https://bilsteinlifts.com/shop/03-0...-5100-coilovers-for-toyota-4runner-2003-2009/
I'm thinking of tossing some 275/70/17 BF KO2's on there after. Any thoughts on the tire fitment? I've tried to do some research to see if I would need wheel spacers but haven't found a definitive answer. I'll probably add skid plates and rock sliders as well. Haven't done much research on those yet though.

Anyway, looking forward to hearing anyone's thoughts. I'm looking to do the modifications correctly, as I'd much rather pay a little more than cheap out. If there are any vendors that you guys prefer to support let me know as well. Always happy to send the money to good people.

This is from the day I first brought it home.
