Hey there,
Just had a few questions for anyone who can help to answer them. I am looking at two different 3rd gen's right now and am trying to decide which one may be the better option. Both are 3.4L 4wd.
One is a 98' Supercharged TRD 5spd with 150k for $8500. It includes Split Second Timing, Pia Lights, SmithBuilt rails and grill, after market suspension.
With this one, I'm wondering what i should look at with the supercharger. Are there problems or special things i should investigate. Also, it will need premium fuel , but will the split second timing suck up more gas?
The second is a lifted 2000 with 140k for $9000. It has 2" PP Lift
-1" BB Body lift
-Diff drop to correct CV angle
-Regeared to 4.56 (precision gears)
-17" Alloy wheels
-295-70-17 tires
-ADCO Swaybars
-Bilstein shocks all around
-New front and rear brakes, Stainless steel goodridge brake lines
-New factory muffler
It also has the lower panels and bumpers hurculined. (does anyone have experience with doing this?)
also, this one has woodgrain interior which i do not want. is there a way to switch those panels out and if so what is there to it?
just wondering if there are certian things i should look out for on top of getting them professionally checked. also, which is a better deal do you think?
thanks for your help!
