Cruise Control Does Not Work 97 4runner - YotaTech Forums

are they any good or are they shit?

cause i dont want to waste my money getting it put on and it sucks.

post links or from past installations help me out

Check your link Skiz, or is this a sneaky way of getting advice on a muffler and your cruise control? :surfer:

ya im really confused on what the link has to do with cherrybomb mufflers? well i heard they arent too bad but they dont last very long... most ppl on here i think had it for about only 3 years and they were ruined. Im contemplating on getting one too but that was a huge factor bc i dont wanna have to redo my muffler after only 3 years.

They sell for anywhere between $70-100. BUrtman industries sells them for $100 and he can be trusted bc he is a member on this forum and owns a 4runner as well.

If you don't want it to be wasted after 3 years invest in a stainless steel muffler. before my friend got his yukon he had CB muffler and it was okay until it started leaking exhaust fumes. if you really want one of these kind of mufflers I would go with flowmaster as they seem to hold up better and this is also on my friends yukon. its a 44 if that helps.

dude i heard that so many guys on here say not to get a flowmaster... most have said to go with their the Cherrybomb or more popular, the magnaflow. I thoguht bout getting the magnaflow 18" but im still sooo unsure.

To each there own right? My buddy wanted sound and got that flowmaster system. I would get a magnaflow or borla but I would much rather get a ganador system for my truck. but to be fair the muffler looks very brown or tan. seems like rust on the welds or something like that. it is aluminum though that could be why. granted the system is like 6 or 7 years old.

Ive got a Dynomax and I like it, stainless steel and it has a nice drone to it, not very loud or annoying.

That looks like the Cherrybomb Turbo. Most of us on here running a muffler from Cherrybomb have the Vortex. You probably want the 2.25" piping.

ya it should be the same for all 3rd gens i believe. The important thing to look at is to make sure it has 2.25" inlet and outlet piping... Im not sure but i think the inlet is centered and the outlet is off-centered.
