I just finished reading all 26 pages of your build! The dedication you put into both of your runners is inspiring! Especially after your accident! (I know it happened a long time ago, but for me it just happened lol)
I understand getting burnt out, I spent 2 years building my runner, then I bought a house and all my focus has been put into that.
Just this weekend we took my 98 runner up north with the kids and pup, the runner was a champ! Except the sway bar link on the front passenger side snapped, with a few zip ties it was drivable until we got home. After some research I discovered I was supposed to get longer ones to compensate for the 3” lift (that’s how I found your thread). I contemplated removing it altogether, but my wife talked me out of it. I’ll get the longer ones.
I also have the tundra brake upgrade, and I have a problem with squishy breaks, they still work fine, just little more squishy then I would like. Did you have the same problem? I’ve hear swapping out the MC with a 76 or 73 blazer MC would cure that, (can’t remember which one at the moment).
Is there anything else you would recommend swapping out after a 3” lift?
