Looking at china led bar off ebay and shipping via DHL is "free". My question is has anyone else ordered an ebay shipped light bar via DHL and do they collect any $$ at the door? If so how much? TIA

I have ordered quite a few lightbars with DHL shipping. No problems whatsoever. If there is such an issue, refuse delivery and take it up with ebay/paypal.

Agree with junkyardbiker..... if ebays states free shipping, no fees should be attempted to be collected at the door.
Period!

Don't forget, this is Canada, eh!?
eBay can only guarantee that shipping will be free. It is up to Customs and Excise if they choose to delay your package and add duty or HST. In my experience, small/cheap packages arrive with no extra charges, but larger packages often have additional fees from customs, and you have no choice but to pay them. On top of that, Canada Post adds another $5 as a service charge, for collecting the duty for the government!
If you refuse delivery, then you lose your package. (ie., cutting off your nose to spite your face!)
Hopefully, with DHL, the customs boys will not get involved, and your lightbar will arrive with no extra fees.

Great info, thanks for the feedback. Going to order 3 side mount Cree bars, 1- 41" $145 plus two 7" $35 ea. total with $45 shipping and exchange $330.
