So, a few weeks ago, I was daydreaming about the 4th and my 4R. I imagined me driving around Friendswood with the Stars and Stripes flying above the drivers side of my Loadwarrior basket and the Lone Star flag flying above the passenger side, with my three kids loaded up and looking for the parade. Instead, the 4R is sitting up on jackstands, in my garage waiting for my replacement rear 5100's to get here. And for some strange reason, all I want to do right now is go out there and work on it. Not that there is anything that needs to be done, but I cannot help feeling the itch to tear something apart in an effort to improve it. Part of me wants to rip out the center console and install more USB ports and Air on Board switches for LED light bars. Another part of me wants to rip out all of the silver trim pieces, sand paint and 2k urethane coat them. Instead, I'm sitting here in the house and a/c, on the PC, trying to avoid the 2,463 degree Fahrenheit Texas heat outside and trying to figure out some novel excuse to tell the wife so that I do not have to drive her little car to watch fireworks. Do any of you all get that "itch"?
Anyway, HAPPY 4TH OF JULY TO ALL OF MY FELLOW PATRIOT T4R.ORG MEMBERS!!!! GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU AND OUR GREAT COUNTRY!!!!
