Christmas wish list help

Well the holidays are upon us again and family is starting to ask for gift ideas. I would love to get the bumper that Pikeman had built but I don't see that happening, it would be tacky to tell all my family to pool their money together to get me a bumper. So I was trying to think of some good gift ideas to tell them. I was thinking mostly under $50 but maybe one or two $75-100.

any ideas?

Based off your sig, sliders and a CB. Sounds like a good Christmas to me.
You can get sliders for like $150, and most small CB radios (ash tray size) are $75-$99.
 
Why would that be tacky? Might as well get you something you really want!

But I know what you mean. Which is why I buy myself a Christmas present every year. No one knows what I want more than me. And I'm getting myself a new bumper this year. I think you should too.
 
Thanks, those are some good ideas. At first when I saw the auto tire deflators I thought that was kinda stupid. Then I started thinking about how long it takes to air down 4 33" tires. Seems like one of those little things that is nice to have and makes you think why didn't you have it before.

I was also thinking of maybe getting some new light bulbs for the head lights.

As far as the sliders do you think the 4Xinovations Hrew are good enough or is the DOM necessary?

The HREWs are fine. I have DOM but that's because I try to overbuild everything I can on my truck. HREWs will still take their fair share of beatings for many years. 4xInnovations makes a great product for a great price IMO.

Another gift idea would be Husky Liners. I just got some about a month ago and they are great, especially in the winter. I paid <$60 for the front pair.
 
i love my 4xinnovations sliders. Mine are hrew, and they seem to be really well built. They have a few small dents, but what can I say i have beat them up. Good buy for the money
 
I love my Husky Liners. It would be great to get the bumper but I understand. Besides then you would have to request a Winch for your Birthday(another expensive gift).

Husky liners, Staun Deflators, CB, PIAA replacement bulbs for your headlights.(I here the sylvanias usually go out after a year), Recovery strap make sure you specify brand and rating (ARB, Viking, Pro-Comp 2-3 inch 17k-30k) Hi-Lift, Wet Okole seat covers. Snow chains for when you come do a Snow run with us So Cal guys.
 
Cb's are always nice along with some sliders. I got stubbs welding and i LOVE them.

BTW im from moorpark so if you get stuff and need help installing let me know.
 
Thanks for the ideas guys. So here is the list for the family as of now.
sliders, floor mats, auto tire deflators, snow chains, cb radio, and I put the bumper on just incase someone gets generous. I guess time will tell what I get.

Brian or Pikeman do you guys have any recommendations for snow chains?

I didn't ask for a hi-lift because I don't have aftermarket bumpers or sliders yet.
 
You can get cheap decent chains at Walmart for ~$65/pair. That's what I would do since you don't live up here and won't use them all that much. When I buy chains, I get the ones with chunks of metal welded to the outsides of the links called "ice breakers", but they cost a lot more. But it's worth it to me because I plan on chaining up all 4 tires and taking advantage of all the yahoos up here on the weekends and making a little extra cash this season yanking them out of the snow when they get stuck. I have buddies that have made $2K in a weekend rescuing the re**rded.
 
I was going to say any inexpensive pair of chains. It is mainly to get past the CHP check points on the way up the MTN and not so much on the trail. In fact I have had my chains for two years now and havnt even opened them up. This last time they stop me and ask to see the sizing chart to make sure they would fit if I needed them.
 
Cheap snow chains, check.

So any of you guys want to go wheeling between Christmas and New Years? I'm going to be in Big Bear Sunday the 26 - Wednesday the 29 if you want to go somewhere up in that region. If so we can post something up in the SoCal group section.
