Chrome door handle delete

My new to me 2008 4runner has chrome door handles and they just dont rub me right. Has anyone found a solution to this? I know they're plastic so they wouldn't be to hard to paint but still I'd rather try and find replacements or covers since painting things right is a pain in the butt. Problem with this is that i cant for the life of me even find door handles on oem sites and i also cant find covers that fit. The truck is black so obviously i want them to be black. Any help would be much appreciated!!
Thanks!

Only thing with wrapping it is that my dad is actually an auto body guy. So we may end up painting them. I just wish I could find a price on real oem handles so I could weigh out if it's worth the money to just buy them instead of taking on the tricky task of painting such a curvy body part

Have you considered local junkyards? Surely you can find cheap pairs and take your time painting the spares until you're happy with the results. Just a matter of time and willingness to look around the area

Dealers do sell OEM color handles.

I think you need items 1, & 2 for each door, in black of course.

I'd pony up and try to find a shop to get it done right. Will look better and last longer and you'll have factory quality door handles.

They sell the factory color matched ones on Toyota parts stores online. Just make sure you enter in limited as the trim or else it’ll only pull up the chrome ones. Been meaning to swap mine out for a while. After 3 years the plasti dip is wearing down

these are covers i painted black and put on about 8 years ago, so im guessing they still should make covers that fit.

Also interested in changing from chrome to black. Any other input on buying cheap caps you can get on ebay vs having dealer entirely replace handle with a black ones? I imagine it would be expensive having them take 4 doors apart?
