Chrome Grill by Autonecnica

I had my 2005 Runner outside in my driveway during hurricane Wilma (wife's car took priority in 1-car garage). My grill got badly scratched from a flying clay roof tile and I decided to 'fix' it by covering it with the Chrome Grill cover that is sold by Performance Prod. I was expecting a poor quality item that would not fit too well and I was WRONG. The piece used good quality tape and fit like a glove. Also, the 'chrome' plate was better than any plastic chrome plate I've seem, OEM or otherwise.

I have attached pics that shows the underside tape placement and installed pics.

My roof also got dented from flying clay tiles but I don't see a quick fix for that. I don't think a paintless dent repair person can fix that without removing the headliner.

that sux, my uncle also lives in boca... all his clay tiles ripped off his roof and hit his van... its totalled. it smashed the windows and everything. sounds like you got off pretty easy compared to how it coulda gone.

After liking the grill cover so much, I ordered the trunk lid cover and it arrived today. Again, I'm impressed - great quality and fits perfect.

I always screw up tape/glue projects and i would hate to make a mess of my front grill!!!

Got my cover last week and installation was a piece of cake!!!
Its totally fool proof and it makes a world of difference. the truck looks soo much sharper now. I think my truck would look weird without one!!!!

Actually, I think it makes non-05-SR5's look like an 05 SR5.

just to let everyone know, that the site I listed that had it. Looks like they raised their prices, it's now listed at $100.

They totally raised the price!! I paid $85 with shipping and tax.

I wonder if their cost went up or just their profit margin?



Thats too bad cuz it was a really good deal and the cover looks great.
