I acquired my 4Runner TRDP today so I thought I would reserve this space to dedicate to my build. I will be posting as many pics of the modifications as they take place and will be happy to answer any questions about anything I do to my ride. Hope you follow along.
So I totally lucked out on acquiring my 4Runner however I had an advantage since I work as a Finance Director for a Toyota dealership. Long story short, I ordered mine Dec 15, 2014, we earned one for allocation and it was due to be built Dec 25, 2014. Fast forward to today and a Toyota dealership 26 miles north that I used to work at 4 years ago got an Inferno TRDP today. I called the sales manager who is also my friend and asked if he would give up his in stock unit for an Allocated one that is due to come 1st week of Feb. He was reluctant but since we were good friends, he let it go unbeknownst to his GM who was a little upset when he found out. So that is how I got my TRD Inferno 3-4 weeks early.
A little background of myself. I had a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser Special Edition that I built up. Loved that truck. I did some mild upgrades to it. OME 3" Lift, new wheels and tires, tinted windows, etc. I kept the FJ about a year and sold it. Here is a pic of it:
1/10/2015- Had a new car prep done along with Sonax Polymer Net Shield. Amazing how much this color pops. So in love with it.

December 2010, I picked up a 2007 4th Gen 4Runner Sport off lease. Also did some mild mods to it like a spacer lift, Gobi Rack, Rigid LED Bar, Tinted Windows, same wheels and tires that were on my FJ. To show how much these trucks hold their value, I picked it up off lease for $22000, it had 26000 miles on it. I sold it 3 years later for $24000 and it had 66000 miles on it. I kid you not!! I was sad to get rid of it but it was time to move on. I knew however that I would get back into a 4Runner in the near future.

April 2014- Just for fun, I thought I would share my other love. My 2014 Audi S6 with APR Stage 1 Tune. It pushes 580HP and 560 TQ. This thing is a beast.

Ok so today, I picked up my 2015 4Runner TRD Pro Inferno. I absolutely fell in love with this truck and color the minute I saw the press release and knew I had to have it. I plan on keeping with my mod theme and do some mild mods to it. I already have the GOBI Stealth Rack ordered which will arrive next week. (I ordered the rack in Dec so I would have it by the time the 4Runner came, well quite the opposite happened). I have a 40" Curved LED bar going on the roof, a 28" E2 Led bar going behind the bumper, a set of D2 Fog lamps in Amber, and a pair of 6" SR light bars for reverse lights behind the Gobi rack. I chose to do all Rigid Industries lighting because I believe you get what you pay for. Also sitting in my garage among all the lighting are N-Fab Nerf Step Bars. I love the look of these which is why I chose them.
Here are the lights sitting in my garage saying "Put me on that beautiful truck!!".

So over the next few days I will be putting the N-Fabs on as well as the LED interior lighting. The windows get tinted next Tuesday and the Gobi Rack will arrive early next week and will be installed that weekend. That is whats on the agenda for the next few weeks.
