Cilajet offered by dealership

Hey guys, just want a few opinions before I totally dismiss this. When I bought my 2010 TE, the finance department threw all sorts of things my way, which is typical. I dismissed all offerings save the free 2 years of service. One thing offered was Cilajet, which is a clearcoat protectant of some sort with a 10 year warranty. They offered it for $399+tax. The only reason I actually gave this thing a second thought is because my TE is black. The finance lady also offered Cilajet for the interior to protect from stains, but I know I can put Scotchguard on the seats if I'm worried about stains on my BLACK seats. I know most of the vehicle is protected from trail debris by the plain black plastic parts, which are easily replaced if need be. Anyone else hear of this Cilajet stuff? Thanks for your replies.

Yeah, the claims are huge on the website/flyer, but in order to maintain the 10 year warranty, you have to wash your car, and clean it when something gets on it...I do that anyway. It doesn't provide any scrach or chip resistance. I'm not getting it. Just one more attempt of the stealership to get my money those crafty guys.

Rejex is less than 20 bucks a bottle . Sounds like the same stuff . Google it .

How about Paint Protection Film? It will actually protect against chips and scratches.. I can sell you a Hood, Fender and Mirror kit for $245 with wrap or no wrap edges. One of the big competitors is XPEL and their kit is $329 with no mirrors that can be found here

I'm a 3M/VentureShield installer, and usually get about $400 for this kit installed.
