CL find - 99' Limited with lower miles and original window sticker

Saw this on the CL today. Its a 99' with diff lock and 109k. Looks like it has the diff lock too. Leather looks nice and clean. Something is up with the right headlight as its the wrong one. Price is a little high, but finding them with lower miles isnt as easy as it used to be. No affiliation.

Also neat to see the window sticker as mine didnt come with one. Spendy!

Nice truck. Does seem expensive though. I paid $5500 for my 99 a year ago with 152K on it. Has a few flaws but all in all is a great truck.

wow that thing is clean! very well taken care of too, plus the it looks like the timing belt/waterpump was done, EDIT never mind it says it in the description doh! i need to read these things :ybrick:

I bet he's trying to get blue book value out of it, IMO i think that thing is worth around 8 or 9?? i could be wrong, I mean it does have an elocker??

Yeah if it was going for 8k I would be all over that, but that price is a bit high.

Super clean - I sometimes wish I had waited a little bit before jumping on the one I bought. But I love 'er anyway.

BTW - $10600 isn't terrible. It's a starting point, and the seller is motivated (Need to seel asap, price is OBO, etc.).

Seems fair for the truck. That market has to be high like the Colorado market. Just on a side note... in case anybody was wondering . I took a look a 2000 SR5 Sport (hood scoop, fog lights, color matched bumpers) last night with 104K and diff locker. Axle seal, CO2 sensor, mass air flow sensor, rear brake shoes, front brakes all new. 1 owner! We are still working on the price but I think I have found "the one." Paint has a few marks on the hood and bumper but she's a peach. Girlfriend doesn't understand why I want to go to the 2000 and get rid on my 2001 but she will when we hit the trails.

I think thats a very fair price for what youre getting. They dont make em like that anymore and its damn near mint! Doubt it will sit there very long

If I'm not mistaken, there seems to be some messy lookin' seam sealer around the rear of the passenger fender where it meets the firewall... Does anybody else see this?
Maybe it's not as "mint" as it seems... Still a very nice rig, but that mis-matched headlight got me lookin' at that passenger fender area.

Also, what's up with the ignition surround trim piece? It looks pretty tweaked... Is there just too much wiring crammed behind it for that "bass control knob" or whatever it is?

Looks clean but I noticed something fishy. They claim the timing belt was just done but the sticker says it was replaced 11/11/05 with 96k miles. Seems odd to replace it again 13k miles later. Not a big deal just seemed odd.

I just got my 02 limited 2wd for $10,900 a few months ago. Had 95K miles on it at the time. Excellent condition minus a small ding on the rear bumper above the trailer hitch. Totally worth it!

They might be in there somewhere... if that bumper took the kind of hit I suspect it did, then the fog lights and/or brackets are probably pushed back in a little, or missing altogether if they were busted.

I just bought my 2000 4 months ago... funny thing is that the dealer who I bought it from had the window sticker in the glovebox when I test drove it - but when I picked it up they had thrown it away! :dammit:

Uhh, I think they mean that 13K miles is "just done".

This car has had its odometer rolled back. Carfax looks good until you examine the details b/c at 4.5 years ago it had 107K miles . . .now only 109K? I called Seattle Toyota where it had been serviced about 3.5 years ago and they said the rig had 118K when it came in to be serviced.

timing belt done 13k miles ago in 2005 per sticker. only 13k miles in 5-6 yrs? wow if true! boo if shady!
