I'm aware this is a pretty new h/u. But I thought I would ask if anyone has any personal hands on with it.

So after many night trying to research the Clarion NX702. Since there wasn't much reviews out there I decide to give it a try. All the specs looks pretty good, the swap feature should be cool, the Nav looks cool from what I could tell. So I orded one from Amazon. Been playing with it for three weeks.
Install went like normal HU install. If you do decide to get this unite I would suggest a Parking Brake Bypass. I've try just grounding the green park wire but there has to be a delay from the time the unite comes on and sense the parking wire. I got the micro one for $20.
The Nav works well. I do like how you can have it display where the fuel station are as POI. I does recalulate quickley if you go off curse. The AV info at the top covers up Nav info if you have it on. You can zoom out on the map but it won't navigate with that setting. Traffic info is bad ass if I had to drive into the city.
The unite has awesome sound. You have to adjust sound setting through they Beat EQ. Witch is a lot different then what I'm use too. So I took some time of just playing with it. The radio Preset channel button were hard to push while driving, which is basically just the station number. HD radio was great.
Ipod was a little hard. Search through your playlist or song list was hard due half of the screen was taken by the album art of whatever you got playing at the time. The swap sucks, cause if you didn't touch it right it you play whatever song your finger was on. So I ended up using the arrows to scroll most of the time. This goes for menu items, Bluetooth and everything esle also. It does take some time to get use to it. Just don't expect it to be like swapping on your apple or android devices.
Pairing the phone was easy. Contacts list by last name first. Couldn't find how to change this.
Having the ability to view the backup camera anytime is a nice feature. But I wire my camera so it only came on when in reverse. So that wasn't useful to me.
Big this about this unite that I didn't like. The screen position is the first thing that happens on this unite. So when I start up the draw of the systems of the vehicle cause the HU to forget where the screen angle is so it would stay at 0 angle when I have it set at 2. But if I turn the key and let the screen move into the angel I've set and then start the truck it would be fine.
Overall, I do like this head unite. But the screen angle thing is the driving force for me to return this.
Sent this back for the JCV KW-NT800HDT. Installed it today. And loving it so far.
