Even though my eye has been on replacing my 4runner for an is300, I still cannot let my 4runner rot. Mods are still going even though im 90% my next car will be an is300. Anyways fall semester is about to start and i will be driving back and forth (about 20 miles a day..4 days a week) between school and home, on top of other things such as work and getting out.

Im going to keep posting in this thread until i finish what i need to so if you guys could just stick around for a bit.

first off, im going to replace my o2 sensor (bank 1 sensor 1) and my spark plug wires (already did spark plugs last fall). My spark plugs i replaced were NGK and i want to keep my wires ngk or denso. i did some looking around and was trying to see if these are the correct part numbers for my 1999 4runner 2wd sr5.

Spark plug wires: Amazon.com: Denso 671-6182 Original Equipment Replacement Wires: Automotive

O2 sensor: Amazon.com: Denso 234-4169 Oxygen Sensor (Air and Fuel Ratio…

there were many types with different part numbers and i wasnt sure which one i needed. And with pricing...do those seem decent?

Thanks

The wire set you have linked is for a V8 since it has 4 wires. I used this set.

Amazon.com: NGK (4412) TE66 Wire Set: Automotive

thanks for that!.

so now i have these spark plug wires:
Amazon.com: NGK (4412) TE66 Wire Set: Automotive

and this o2 sensor for my 1999 sr5 2wd:
Amazon.com: Denso 234-4162 Oxygen Sensor (Air and Fuel Ratio Sensor): Automotive

after searching around and looking it up on denso site..it says that the part number is 234-4162 for the o2 sensor. i need the bank 1 sensor 1..which is the front one right?

and is 67$ about right for that o2 sensor? i usually hear them at the 130-140 price range...why such a big discount?
