Cleaning Glass

I've searched this forum high and low for a consensus on a good glass cleaner but can only seem to find info on removing H2O spots.

Anyone have a glass cleaner they swear by?

Any Amonia-Free glass cleaner and NEWSPAPERS. Trust me nothing works better than Nespaper in removing anything including water spots.

I started w/ paper towels and Windex and it was streak city. Then I tried the Windex with a nice microfiber towel and still got mild streaks. I bet I cleaned every square inch of glass four times!

You guys rule, thanks.

The only problem with newspapers is the ink comes off easily which can be left on plastics, rubber, and fabric. I use paper shop towels which I don't think work quite as well but at least no ink is left behind.

I've found that even the cheapest glass cleaners that come in pressurized spray cans outperform anything in a squeeze pump bottle.

Weird, I know...

I went to Safelite/Elite Auto Glass store and asked for a spray can for free. Got home and tried it on all of my windows and boy I was so impressed. :yesyes:I'mma go back over there and ask for another one when this one runs out. lol

Windex is probably the worse thing you can use to clean glass with. How they sell that crap is beyond me. Spit would probably work better.

I've used both Stoner and Rain-X, both good products.
