cleaning air intake 90 3VZE help at 200k

What's the best way to clean air intake, not the intake manifold while still on engine for 3.0 3VZE?

What part the intake tube/ MAF/throttle body/air cleaner?

The intake on top of engine, behind throttle body. I think I found some Amsoil product you spray in and let it sit for about 10 to 15 minutes then drive it to blow out. I think it was called power foam.

Some reason PCV was stopped up and it sucked a lot of black carbon, emissions, whatever through the intake from the vent on throttle body side. Cleaning throttle body butterfly, I noticed when I opened it all the way up to clean back side, the intake is pure black and real sooty. Reading Amsoil site on power foam indicates to warm engine, then spray in whole can in varying amounts and to keep engine running until can is empty. Then shut down for 15 minutes and then start up and drive for a short time at speed to blow out (or suck out) any residue. This all came about when I replaced throttle body boot due to split causing abnormal idle and noticed this. PCV is clean now. Since nothing but air goes through intake, no other way to clean, unless you dismantle. You spray in through the vent hose on throttle body side according to what I can read. I didn't see any dangerous chunks, but a lot of soot. I'm running Amsoil internal cleaner (engine flush) now to prep for synthetic engine oil.
