Cleaning the Clad

Well Hellooew!

I wanted to get some input as to what members here are using on there (cladded) rides. Not sure which years this was done but this the grey cladding around the outside of the vehicle

I have been using the (Mothers-Back to Black) and after a few uses it looks like new...after a few rains...not so much...lines and streaks on the cladding looks bad and the black tinge only lasts about 1 month...

again its use will restore the "New" look but I wanted to see if I am wasting some time here by not using the best product for the job.

These are the products I would recommend after cleaning. I have used both.
I currently use the Perl for just about everything inside and out at various dilutions.

PERL Coat Plastic & Rubber Protectant, vinyl and rubber dressing, interior protectant

WG trim sealant is more costly, however it last longer.

Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant, rubber protectant, metal protectant, exterior trim protectant, trim sealer

Going backwards a bit for cleaning plastic and rubber bits, well just about anything but paint and fabric... I use this.

Spray on Amazing Roll Off and watch the dirt roll off!

I saw a commercial on TV for a product called "Wipe New" They actually use a 2003 4Runner in the commercial. I would check that out.

Lol, I agree. Those are the only negative things I've seen. BUT if you search "Wipe New" on YouTube you'll get a bunch of videos and reviews and 90% of them are good. If you do decide to try it let us know how it goes and post up pics! I just used that video because it is the commercial with the '03 4Runner with cladding that you see on TV.
