clear tails?!

So I ordered up some clear rear taillights for my 4r, gonna throw some red LED's in! The thing is, I like the blacked out look on a black 4r, however I want to be seen at night and blacked out tails, corners and headlights just dim what lil light is coming out and I want my lights to be bright so the spaced out stoner's that live in CO notice when I hit my brakes and/or use my turn signal (which I do use). Am I crazy? You think it'll look good? I know someone on here has a black 4r with 'em, not that I am copying but i do like the look. I'll post pics when I'm done, here are some before shots!

blacktpsgr has those clear tails or white-ish looking.

But check out my Sonar brand ones for a different look or some might suggest using that spray on product for a darker look.

personally I have tried the LED bulbs and not found them to be all that impressive. The 01-02 LED tails may give you the look you like, but either way your ride is coming along nicely.

I thought by now you would've already had it installed..If you're worried if clear tails are gonna emit enough red when you hit the brakes..well my friend, this is an un-edited DAY shot of my clear tails when I switched to L.E.D.'s..I'd say they're pretty bright..more than enough for police to steer clear off your back. well.... unless the cops really like your truck!
