Clearing Radio Presets

2014 SR5. How do you clear the radio presets? Or reorder them? Wife is torqued because I put in 3 AM stations (sports talk) in her truck and now that we have a 3rd home in Montana, she has to scroll past them to get to her local Montana stations. The manual is worthless for this issue. It only tells you how to add preset stations. Ideally, we'd reset the order. Absent that, delete them all and restart over.

I think you basically just have to reset them to put hers back at the top, or wherever. Shouldn’t take but a few minutes to run back through them. Good luck

I hope someone can answer this because my wife puts Christmas music on xm in the winter and it leaves me to many presets the rest of the year. I have not figured out how to reset everything.

I think you just reprogram the position with the station you want there.

Everytime we try to reset a position, it goes back to the original station. The manual is completely worthless on this. All it tells you is how to select the total number of presets.

I've tried to find a function to clear all presets (or even just one preset) but haven't been successful. I think the only option is to do what other people mention above, overwrite the existing preset.

1. Go to any station that you like.
2. Click and hold on the station that you don't like.

I figured out my problem. I was trying to go from 12 to 10 presets. It does not work that way. You have to chose from 6, 12, 18 etc. The are no intermediate choices.

Tune the radio to whatever station you want. Press and hold down the preset you want to change until it beeps. You can even do it while driving......

Failing that, disconnect the battery for an hour, that should clear everything.
