Unfortunately I will be unable to make to this upcoming May meet, but a small group of us(currently growing) are planning to go back to Cleghorn the 22nd to rerun the trail whether it be the difficult offshoots or just the main road itself as well as pilot rock being a possibility. Just wanted to open the invite and see who else wanted to tag along.:hello:

The majority of the group will have basic comms, such as 2-way radios, a few of us will have cb and ham radio.

*Group has gotten alot bigger than expected@close to ~25rigs, anyone with experience on this trail especially pilot rock please PM me.*

Meet spot 8am - right off I-15, Cleghorn, Rd. A couple exits up you can gas up or get some grub at mcdonald's and chevron.

haha you have my number, lemme know man! the majority of the people that are going are those that missed the meet last month or those that wanna retry the course taking the offshoots.

I am down for this trip. I was in Vegas during the last one, and I won't be around for the next one.

yeah man join in on the fun, meeting up fairly early around 8-8:30 at the "staging area" right off the I-15 Cleghorn Road Offramp: Cajon Pass, CA

Ok that's not an issue is there much challenge to thea in roads? I sure hope it's more then just a dirt road.

Being as I'm one of the father out members here I vote we shoot for an 8 am meet time. I'm assuming at the McDonalds there?

I am fine with 8am, most of those that are going have a drive themselves, but I will relay the message to them. There is a Mcdonald's and Chevron located a couple exits from the Cleghorn trail. From my experience with Cleghorn, the main trail itself was pretty much just a dirt road, but the offshoots and sidetrails are the ones I am going back for, cleghorn can be easy or hard depending on what route you take, which I like alot. I youtubbed a couple cleghorn vids as well as pilot rock videos just to see what I would be getting myself into.

You can find most of the info on this thread, such as meet spot and info on the trails themselves, and i believe there are some videos posted as well.

Anyone who has done this run, how long will this run take? (Estimated) I can't wait to do this.

We started around 0930 and I think we were done around 4pm but we did Cleghorn and Pilot rock. We had about 25 rigs. We stopped a few times to take a break, regroup, eat and socialize. We also had stopped for trails to clear. I say enjoy, take your time and soak everything in. Have fun!
