Clicking/tapping noise when engine is idle

Hi guys,

I have a 2018 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road Premium with 26000 miles on it. Starting 2weeks ago, I noticed a continuous loud clicking/tapping noise when engine is idle. The noise is coming from the fuel tank area. Not sure what it is. Took the car to the dealer and they said they could not duplicate the noise and everything seems to be normal. Any thoughts will be appreciated.

Is it similiar to what's discussed in the following thread? Engine noise sounds like diesel at idle.

If it's a buzzing sound a few hours after engine is off it's normal. Something to do with the fuel evap system doing a self check.
