I did my water pump a over a week ago and I have another squeal I think is coming from a pulley. This noise is not high pitched like the first time. When driving I notice this squeal happens when the engine is in gear or when I rev in neutral.
When the clutch is in or I'm idling in neutral the noise stops. Is this normal for this sort of belt noise?
Another problem is with my power steering belt, I've already adjusted it twice. Now I can turn the wheels 95% with no noise or loss of power assist, but when I have the wheel turned maximum to either side the belt will make a very loud squeal. Does this mean I have to tighten the tensioner more?
I found the problem but I don't know what to do about it. When I turn the wheel to the max, the pully nut stops spinning. Look at the 7th second of this video.
