ok so i got a new valve and i was fixing the heater stuff and i noticed after i removed the cables to lube it. That there is some sort of pin that holds the levers when the slide there is the top bar and bottom and there is a pin shaped hole that looks like something slides threw to hold them in place i can get a picture if needed
dose anyone have a picture ive looked and cant find one.

o i see yeah i fixed mine with a flat head allen bolt and thin nut. the clips are brittle and i wouldnt know where to find a new one.

So a bolt and nut will work figure some washers as well

yup should be fine that way if it doesnt work then ill be scrapping a 87 here soon and ill save some clips for you.

Ok dose that 87 happen to have the trim that covers the top bolts? My 2 broke the L's that go up the b pillar
