Climate Control info/price

Can anybody link me to some info on changing the climate control unit in my 1999 Limited? Where is the best place to buy a new or rebuilt unit? Also if anybody knows, how much does the Toyota dealership charge for a unit/install? I searched for a while and couldn't find this info... Maybe I didn't look in the right places. If anybody has one for sale let me know. Thanks for checking this out...

It is a simple plug and play.

Mine was changed before I bought it in 2006. It cost the previous owner $937 to replace it.

I have heard of someone who rebuilds them for $150, which I want to do eventually. I'm not sure who it was or his contact, but hopefully someone does. I wouldn't get another used one because it could fail on you.

wot's wrong with it? is it completely fubar'd or what? the bulbs go out often and can be replaced with some work and time, i guess what im getting at is, have you looked at repairing the unit you already have before jumping into a $600 replacement part?
