Climate control lights

Looks like I've hit the allotted number number of posts needed to start a thread.

I have a quick question about the climate control lights. I'm not referring to the lights that backlight the LED screen or the lights that illuminate once buttons are pressed. I'm referring to the lights that that turn on when the headlights are turned on, such as the up temp, various vent lights, etc. None of those come on for me on any of the three circular controls. I find it strange that they'd all be out.

Has anyone had issues with all of them at the same time? I believe that these lights are soldered in. I purchased the vehicle about a month and a half ago, and they've never worked. Previous owner installed a basic Sony Xplode head unit, which might be the cause. Backlighting to the LCD went out after I got the dash replaced today, but that should be easy to fix.

Thoughts? Has anyone successfully fixed these lights on their own?

They are bulbs just like the LED back lighting (different type of bulbs though). When I first got my truck they were all out as well. Just went to the dealer and got new ones. Unless you are talking about the arrows. Those might be LED. Im not sure though.

Perfect time to turn it into leds. Look for HVAC mod. For less than 50 bucks you can add years to your interior.

Here ya go: Center Console Lights

Thanks for the replies. The dealership is replacing them all for no charge due to a couple going out during dash installation.

Will try the LED conversion some time in the future!

That looks so good. Do you have any hot spots in your lcd screen? It seems like most people I've seen do this have hot spots in their screen and that's what's keeping me from doing it. Also, how hard was it to do and did you do the gauges? Or the lights in the cup holder or shifter? If I do think I would want everything to match.

2007 T4R Climate Control Backlights - Specifics?

I am attempting to specifically identify LED replacements for the OEM incandescent bulbs in the climate control panel in a 2007 Toyota 4Runner SR5. Attached photo reflects those OEM bulbs and bulb numbers.

I've seen in other posts that the Samsung 5630(t4); 5630(t3); and 5628(t3) bulbs will work but details are lacking on specific sources and specifically which of these bulbs replace which of the OEM incandescent bulbs.

Also, when trying to identify LEDs, I don't see addressed anywhere the varying height/length of the bulbs.

Finally, I have scoured internet sources and the 5628 is not to be found anywhere. Can someone identify where the 5628 can be purchased? Or is this supposed to be 3528 instead?

In summary, I just need very specific LED identities (item or part #) and sources for each of the bulbs in the climate control panel:

90010-09015
90010-09016
90010-09017
90010-09018
90010-09019

Can someone assist with this detail? Much thanks!
