Clock gone. Rear window done?

Ok so I have two separate problems. First I had a new deck installed in my runner and a couple days later I noticed my clock was off. So I took the dash apart to see what was wrong and when I opened it the plug that plugs into the clock was missing. I looked everywhere back there and nothing. Even took stereo out and still couldn't find it anyone have same problem? That was a couple months ago. Today I did the fog light mod to have fogs and high beam on and afterwards my rear window will not roll down with remote or switch. I have to insert key into hatch to roll it down. Checked fuses but no luck. Anyone know what I did?

Sounds like stuff unplugged on both accounts.

install shops are great about tucking wires out of the way, I would bet that your clock wire is crammed in some little gap or hold out of teh way of the new deck.

As far as your hatch, window goes, I have heard of this before...not sure of the fix, has something to do with the roll up saftey. I am sure there is a reset porcedure out there some place.

Things i know to check
window lock button pushed
see if your wiper works (to tell if something is un-pluged)
do a few full cycles on the window with the key (should reset it)

I know the clocks unplugged I just can't for the life of me find the plug! I looked everywhere back there and even took the radio back out and still couldn't see it. And as for the rear window I made sure the switch was connected properly. Where else could it be unplugged?

Ok 1 down 1 to go. You were right and I feel dumb. In the commotion of the fog mod last night I must have pressed the window lock button by mistake. Never used it before so never thought to check. Now to find that clock plug.

Ah! See I thought that was the plug for the rear window button. Why in the Hell is there a dead port? I'll go try it right now.

Yes! You guys were right had it plugged into wrong spot. Thanks. And great response time too. Now just need to Google what that Damn blank spot is for.

it is because the vehicle without the clock still have that part of the harness, and Toyota is anal about loose ends so they make a dummy spot to hang the unused plugs on the models without a clock.
