Clock Light Out, Seat Falling Apart?

Kind of annoying. One side of the MPG/Clock lights are out. I'm guessing there isn't really an easy fix for this?

Also, my driver seat seems to have taken a beating by its previous owner, possibly a larger person. The support on the left side seems to have been crushed down into the seat and there is also foam coming out of the bottom. What can I do about this? Redo the upholstery? Get a new seat? Probably pricey either way.

do yourself a favor and get both the bulbs. Its easier to chang eboth than change one, then maybe later change it again.

Just FYI: about 3 years ago I noticed the same thing: one side of the MPG/Clock light was out and another was getting dim.
I knew it was very easy to pull that panel off… so I pulled it off before even getting the new light bulbs… and what I noticed was that light bulbs themselves were fine, they just lost connections to the board of the panel…
I have cleaned the connecting points on the board, bend the wire of the bulbs to make connection better and it works just fine ever since… (around 3 years now)…

Had a problem with the front seat cushion tearing apart at the seam. Took it to a local car upholstery shop. For $30 the seat was taken out and restitched. A lot cheaper than a new seat.

I wonder if this would be possible with mine. Will have someone local take a look at it. Thanks.
