**CLOSED**AURORA LED Lights GB

First GB closed. Second GB feeler! Skip to here

Hey everyone,

First time organizing GB, so feel free to chime in with suggestions!

I am working with Aurora LED Light bar manufacturer in China to get us a good price. Some of you may know of these lights due to the fact that they manufacture all of the components (except lenses) for Rigid. The designs are nearly identical, pricing is substantially less.

The GB is fairly simple - need at least 10 folks to participate, then it is on.

You have until February 23rd to send me your requests and payments (via DM). 1.5 weeks processing on their end and then DHL express - should be stateside, at most, 3 weeks after I place an order on the 25th. Then, however long it takes to get to you! (Dates are approximate)

Best place to see their products is on their website here.
If you need smaller lights to be flush-mounted - add extra $1.5.
Basic wiring (switch/relay/Deutsch connector) is additional $8.
Can come with no "AURORA" branding or with it - your choice.

Pricing - see attached. If there is something you see on their website, and it is not on the price list, please DM me.

Shipping - price on the spreadsheet is for the item to get to me (ZIP 53719). The weight indicated is per item - that`s what I`ll be calculating how much it`ll cost me to ship to you (it is best approximation on what they have given me). Shipping will be either via USPS/UPS (unless requested otherwise).

Warranty - 2 year warranty for manufacturing defects. They claim to have 1% fail rate, which is pretty good. If the light stops working within 2 years under proper use, MOST LIKELY it will not need to be shipped to China. Whatever happens I will do my best to make sure you are taken care of by dealing with the manufacturer myself.

Payment - payment with PayPal upfront (refunds will be issued only if there are less than 10 participants)

Let me know if you have any questions! I look forward to ordering some lights!! :cheer2:

Please take a look at the light patterns below - not all lights are available in all variants!

Glad I saw this, was just about to order at almost 2x the cost of the GB. Surprised more people haven't jumped on this.

Just sent you a PM for 2 lights.

I`m also a little surprised - these are great lights for basically cheap eBay light price. :noidea:

Must be some good sales that have people stocked.

Glad you`re in!

Recently bought a bunch of Aurora Lights from elsewhere, in the past 6 months. Black Friday 2017

GB prices is very very good. Like half the price these american resellers sell them.

But Quality is not what it is..

I have a whole bunch of (8x) - 4x spot, 4x floodAurora 40W cubes. They all test at 30W

Bought a 2x 40" S1 Combo bar, rated 200w. Tested 123w.

Bought 4x Aurora 10" Amber lights, rated 30w. Tested 10w each

Bought a 20" S1 bar, rated 100w. Tested 83w

Read on forums, that group buys.. Warranty will be the biggest PITA if you need it. I emailed questions directly to Aurora. And they say its because cree recommends them driven at lower wattages... Which makes no sense.

Be careful of what you are buying.

I was able to return my 4x amber lights and 1x 40"
My lights were sourced from different sellers. All tested sub par.

I now have all Rigid and Baja Lights. They all test at or above advertised wattages. The only thing Aurora has over the cheaper amazon bars.. might be the water proofing. Thought i was getting a good deal in getting something comparable to rigid or baja. Boy was i wrong.

Thanks for the PSA and sharing your results. Never hurts to make an informed decision. For me, there is such a huge price gap between Rigid/Baja and Aurora. I am mostly buying these for the cool factor and occasional use while camping. I am not doing night racing. For the price that the OP can get these for us, they are a steal. I can't find a similar option for this price range for a single row 40" light bar that is worth it. All the eBay/Amazon ones are much much worse based on reviews.

my post is not trying to dissuade members. It is mainly for information.

The waterproofing on these is lightyears above amazon/ebay bars for the most part. But there are posts if you look around of these failing due to water getting in. The price is definitely right for most people though. Honestly, if i got these at the GB price, i might be complaining less about the results i got from testing them.

Agree with you - these are excellent for the weekend warriors! Race lights these are not.

I am interested in a 30” bar. ALO-D1-30-P4E4J.

Can you DM me with your info please?

Thanks for the info - I haven`t done any tests on these, so it is nice to know more. I do think that the price for what you get is right... If I could afford Rigid, I'd probably buy that. But, reality is different :)
