Pay CLOSE attention towards the end. Also be sure to stay until after the credits, neat stuff (that is if the movie didn't make you sick). I hear a lot of people feel dizzy after watching it.

Is it out already? I saw the "sneak peak" trailer on break.com and it looked like it had some funky special effects.

Yeah its out, i thought 1-18-08 was one of the main selling points of the whole thing. All the viral websites etc. made for it had 1-18 plastered all over it. You should already know how it was filmed right? It's not much of a spoiler because its everywhere, but it's a dude holding a camera recording events on something called cloverfield, thats the whole movie, a guy holding a cam with some friends. Kind of like the blair witch project but supposedly more refined. You could probably tell the filming method by the trailer's footage.

Here's a picture of a warning put up in a lot of movie theaters (including mine) for people not familiar with the film's style, i hear some people have thrown up or had to leave.

I wish they had put that up before I saw the Blair Witch Project. That movie seriously almost had me throwing up in the theater...

Well what I saw was actually a mock news cast about the oil rig going into the ocean. But I kinda heard that it was all jerky and stuff like that.

I've heard of people throwing up, i thought they were just exaggerating.

The movie was fun, got about 76% on rotten tomatoes, so unless you hate the filming style, i think its pretty cool. The film is kinda jerky i guess you could say, but it makes you feel like you are a part of the movie because you basically become one of the characters walking around, a first person viewpoint throughout the whole thing.

I saw it finally and it wasn't too bad. The ending was a little weak if you ask me. The filming style didn't get me sick at all, but that didn't surprise me.

ya like i said in the 3rd post, pay attention at the end if your gonna go see the movie. Damn JJ and his Lost craziness as well, he seems to like to keep people guessing.

I'm with you. It is kind of hard to discuss without spoiling the crucial parts. The mystery is a large part of the movie's allure! I walked out feeling a little short changed, but I have not stopped thinking about this film since seeing it on Sunday.

Same here all my friends are talking about it too. I walked past some people in a hallway and overheard "what was that

" in the movie. I was surprised at how many people saw it over the weekend, everyone was talking about it. Everyone was saying it was good, but thats just my age group.

yes, I waited until the end because i figured there would be something esle from JJ... after i heard it I thought what the heck was that? thankfully some pirate deciphered it already
