Clunk in front end when turning to the right.

Ok, so this never happened before I did some harder OHV trails a couple of weekends ago. I've got a new clunk. Sounds like drivers side front tire area. Same sound & feel like when we get that famous clunk from the rear. And yeah, btw, getting on towards time to lube that U joint again now that I'm thinking about it.
Happens turning to the right, forwards or backwards, say like pulling out out a parking spot or turning hard out of a fast food drive thru. Not always, but I heard it 3 times today. Not at full maxed out turn, and I didn't crash hard into a rock or anything when I was wheeling. Not at full speeds, and it's only doing when I'm not on level ground and it's always done it say within a minute or two after I've started it and leave.
Suggestions? Things to go look for?

Could be a ball joint. Hard to say without looking at it. Jack the tire up off the ground and move it side to side and up and down.....If it has play you should see it.

Did you ever put a spacer level on Ruffian? If you did many find they need at least one re-torque.

put it up, and look for play in the wheel. look for any fluid leaks in that area. take the tire off and see what's up. re align and re balance the front end and tires.

Mine used to do that but it went away without me doing anything also only did it when turning to the right maybe it has something to do with it being blue? lol

Yeah, ball joint. That's what I was trying to think of last night. I hope it's not a ball joint, as I have no idea how to repair those.

Thank you for the suggestions. Once it cools down out there so that the black top isn't over 100 degrees, I'll jack the front side up and see what happens. Whilst I've got it up there and if there is play in the wheel, other than obvious things, what should I look for? And is there something that a mechanical noob can tighten or look to see what's loose and is tighten able? Very sorry now I quit auto mechanics in high school. But it was getting old since no one was happy there was a girl there. Should of stuck it out, but at 16 I wasn't as tough as I am now.

Those Nittos are going to be due soon too for a balance job, and I get those at no cost from the tire dealer.
No spacers, no lift. Yet.
