CO Springs trail run tomorrow?

So I know it's last minute, but myself and a couple other yota's are heading up Old Stage Coach road tomorrow morning. If your interested, we'll be meeting where it turns to dirt at ~10 am. Come on out!!

We'll meet there and head up shortly thereafter, maybe around 1015-1020?

What trails do you plan on running? Eagle rock is one of my favorites over there.

Wish you could come out! As for the planned trails, I am still not very familiar with all of the names as I have only been in the Springs for about a year and have only run trails up Old Stage a few time. I would like to summit Almagre tomorrow at the very least, but may have a stock tacoma in the group so we'll see. Would be nice to have someone like you along who is much more familiar with the area!

I have never been to the summit at almagre but from what I have read, a stock vehicle may be able to make it. If not there are plenty of little trails off gold camp (stage coach turns into gold camp) that a stocker can handle. Check out traildamage.com for some cool trails off of gold camp.

Snow just adds to the fun! If this winter is anything like last winter the snow around here will be mild. If you go up north or a little higher in the mountains you'll see more snow.

I might come join you, but I am fighting a coolant leak. I have the parts to fix it, but just haven't go to it since I am rebuilding a Camry. PM me and I'll get you my number.

A stock vehicle should not have an issue to the summit of Almagre. It's a straight shot up FR379. There are a few places to stop and play along the way. Despite how tempted you might be, stay out of the mud pits along Frosty's Park. Expect plenty of water near the trailhead of FR379.
