Just ate some and it was awesome.
Anyway whats up everyone! My name is Justin I'm from Houston. I'm a 24 year old punk ass kid. :guitar2: Slowly finding my way into adulthood despite my best efforts.
Today I purchased an 87 22re for fifteen hunnerd, and I'm absolutely STOKED!!!!
My first car was a blue 85 with about 315,000 on the clock that I picked up for 1,000. I sure wish I had some pics of that one to show you because it was beautiful.
Unfortunately, thanks in part due to the bald BFgoodrich all terains, and the first snow of the year, but mostly due to being an unattentive 17 year old, I slipped off the road and into a tree. (This is when I lived in Durango, Colorado) Well that was 7 years ago now, and I have been dreaming of that car ever since. I LOVE first gen 4runners. Well my mom ran across this one up there so I went ahead and bought it. Sad thing is, I won't even see it in person until January or so. I may bring it to Houston next summer to begin the restoration. I plan on a full restoration of the body, interior, engine, everything. I'm hoping that there are some people here that can help and guide me along the way.
Some pics,
It's far from perfect but I think its a good platform to start from. First question: Any good online parts places?
I found http://www.toyotacarpart.com/default.asp?c=3 with a quick google search. Seems like a pretty good deal for when I get around to dropping a new motor in it. Anyone dealt with them or know anything about them?
Any other places I should know about would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks for reading.
