Code P1445

Installed a K&N air intake on my 4runner this passed wednseday that was bought from a fellow member on this forum. Truck is running fine but the check engine light keeps coming on along with the VSC lights etc. The first time they came on, I disconnected the battery for a couple miniutes to reset it. Drove a couple of miles and seemed fine. Leaving work the next day, they came back on. Again I reset it hoping its just the engine learning the intake. Leaving work today they came back on as soon as I shifted into drive. Had my mechanic look at it and pulled the P1445 code on it. Any ideas? Could the intake possibly have screwed my truck up? Truck runs fine even with the lights on which I dont understand

Not sure if this is any help but.....

I would double check your work to make sure everything hooked back up. You may have accidentally unplugged or bumped one of the EVAP hoses loose.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I did search and saw that thread. I have double checked everything and all seems in place. I fueled up today and had my code pulled. Gas cap seemed to be a little loose so I'm hoping that might have been a contributing factor. I did notice that the ground wire that's connected to the MAF plug was a little loose as well so I tightened it up even more. Had the codes cleared so im hoping it was just a loose gas cap and ground wire that set off the code
