Hey Guys and Gals, I did create some posts in the FJ suspension thread, but the responses have been minimal.

Here is the deal, I scored a full set of 2012 FJ (trail team) coils the other day. Do you think the rear FJ springs would give my truck too much or just enough rake? The way it sits now, it seems level, but come moto season, and I'm loading the cargo area with gear, and pulling a small trailer it might get a case of saggy butt. Any feedback based on your experience would be appreciated.

It will most definitely get a case of the saggy butt. In fact, it probably already does when driving.

The rear coils will take 30min to install (mine did and I have never installed rear coils before) They aren't much longer than stock, so you can easily cram them in there. Not sure they will be stiff enough.

Nice! Thanks. So you think it will just raise the rear up a little bit? That's all I want to happen at this point in time.

I did pull the OEM coils out last month to pop that 1" spacer lift in. You're right, it was pretty darn easy. I just didn't want to go through the effort if the FJ coils were going to make the truck look like a hot rod with a super jacked up rear end.

Yeah, less than 1/2". Here is what I posted in the FJ suspension thread, hard to tell a difference.

Just realized I hadn't posted my old setup on this thread.

"Leveled" with front coilovers and stock tires:

I appreciate the help, and pictures. You have convinced me to slap those coils in.

Sounds like you're already decided but if you needed any further prodding - yep just do it. It'll look better and sag slightly less with loads. Not to mention it's a quick job.
