I am trying to make the best educated decision on a possible lift. I currently have a full set of 5100's (waiting to be installed) and was planning to go with 1.75" on the front to level my truck. But right now I only have 1.5" of rake when the cargo area is empty and 1" with a full cargo area and tank of gas (work gear load out). So it looks like I will need some new rear springs since mine are no longer at stock height.
Toytec suggests the front coil-over kit for the 5100 shocks, giving 1.5"-3.5" of adjustability for front lift. Other than the ability to adjust the lift, what other benefits are there to having the coil-over kit with the 5100 shocks?
Also, at what height should I be getting new UCAs? Toytec stated that the 1.75" setting on the 5100s would work with the stock UCAs, but with new rear springs of either 1.5" lift (SAWs) or 2" lift (Toytec superflex) I will have to lift the front 2"-2.5" to get a near level truck (looking for 3/4-1" of rake).
My overall goal for a lift is 1) light off-road a few times a month and 2) aggressive look.
Thanks.
