coil/shock compadibility

I just ordered some OME 2" lift springs from Wheeler's offroad. Does anyone know if I will run into any issue's with my Bilstien HD shocks?

Something I didn't think about until after I ordered.

I'm prob going to want some bigger AT tires to fill the gaps, If anyone has some for sale.

I got on the horn with one of the reps from Wheeler's to ask about the shox/coils. The guy I talked to said they would work just find with my Bil's. The only possible side effect is the driver's side front coil could sag a bit because Toyota acounts for a 200lb driver and OME does not. That is why they offer the shim kit but, tha shims will not work with my shox and for that one reason I would suggest the tundra TRD coils apposed to the OME. If I didn't already have the Bilstien HD's I would have gone with the OME set.

He also said if it sags as mentioned, switch the(front) left and right coils and it should even out.

I might not even notice the sag, he said it shouldn't be much.

We will see.

Compatability will be fine but you may notice a pretty harsh ride. OME springs are quite a bit stiffer than stock springs, and the OME shocks account for that. Bilsteins, however, are a pretty stiff shock as well so with the OME springs and the bilstein shocks you may not like the ride.

Also, I'm not 100% sure about OME not accounting for the driver weight, but my OME springs were labeled A and B so that I could put them on the correct side accordingly. I don't know why else that would matter if they weren't accounting for something??

yah, I hope everything works out. I can handle a harsh ride, I am used to little tuner cars that feel like the sussy is welded it place

Same here. I came from lowered civics so when I put my OME springs on I was super stoked to get my rigid ride back.
